WGBH Online Internship
WGBH is public service media for New England - on TV, radio, the Web, and out in the community.
We're the single largest producer of PBS prime-time and online programming, and a major source of
programs heard on public radio from coast to coast. We're a pioneer in educational multimedia and
in media access technologies for people with hearing or vision loss.
Department Description:
WGBH Online (wgbh.org) connects members, supporters and a growing global audience to all facets of the WGBH Educational Foundation by providing a rich slate of media offerings that take users beyond our broadcasts, including audio, video and podcasts.
Internship Description:
WGBH Online would like an intern to work 2-3 days per week (8-24 hours) for the fall semester. The intern will be working closely with department staff on a variety of tasks. The intern will assist in uploading, proofing and writing content for the WGBH websites, QAing websites in development, providing research and updates on current industry trends and helping with other miscellaneous projects as they arise.
Skills Preferred:
Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and possess excellent internet research skills. Experience with HTML welcome but not required.
WGBH Intern Requirements:
- WGBH internships are open only to students enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Internships are unpaid.
