WGBH Intern Requirements:
- WGBH internships are open only to students enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Interns must receive college credit for the internship.
- Internships are unpaid.
College Major Desire:
Film & Video, Journalism, Science majors, Media
Skills Preferred:
Interest and background in science and/or documentary television production
preferred but not necessary. Responsibilities will require strong research and
computer skills, enthusiasm to help out with all aspects of production and the
ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Duties include but are not limited to:
The Production Intern will be involved in all stages of production and will
assist on film shoots that take place in New York. In addition to providing general
administrative and production-related assistance, duties will include: computer and
library research, stock footage research and shoot preparation. The intern will be
invited to editorial meetings, edit and post sessions as appropriate.
