WGBH Science Unit Internship
Department Description: Three internship positions with WGBH's Science Unit, the Producer of NOVA, the premiere science series on American television. Our interns work closely with NOVA staff, including its in-house documentary production teams. The internship is unsuitable for applicants looking for extensive "hands-on" shooting, field production, or post-production experience. Good journalistic and writing skills are particularly valued.
Responsibilities: Telephone and library research; acquired footage research; reading and evaluating stories from the science press; maintenance of film library; dubbing and logging of tapes; general office assistance.
Time Commitment:15-20 hours per week; hours are flexible.
Note: All interns must be currently enrolled in an academic course and able to receive academic credit for their internship.
