National Marketing Internship
WGBH is public service media for New England - on TV, radio, the Web, and out in the community.
We're the single largest producer of PBS prime-time and online programming, and a major source of
programs heard on public radio from coast to coast. We're a pioneer in educational multimedia and
in media access technologies for people with hearing or vision loss.
Department Description:
WGBH pioneered how-to television more than 40 years ago with Julia Child and The French Chef.
America's preeminent public broadcasting producer continues to set the standard for
lifestyle programming, featuring award-winning industry experts that inspire, educate,
and entertain millions of public television viewers each week. The National Marketing department
develops targeted marketing and public relations campaigns to drive tune in and increase brand
awareness for national productions including This Old House, Ask This Old House, Gourmet's Diary
of a Foodie, Simply Ming, The New Yankee Workshop, The Victory Garden,
America's Ballroom Challenge, and From the Top at Carnegie Hall.
