WGBH Special Events Internship
Description: WGBH's Special Events department produces
on-air and community events that promote and support WGBH in its mission. The WGBH Auction,
WGBH Wine & Food Weekend, WGBH Brighton Studios Opening Events are some of the exciting programs
produced by our department.
WGBH Internship Requirements:
- WGBH internships are open only to students enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Interns must receive college credit for the internship.
- Internships are unpaid
Skills Preferred:
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with Mac OS X
- Excellent customer service skills
- An understanding of administrative management
Duties:
- Assist the Special Events staff in various aspects, responding to employee and vendor
questions and requests, filing and scheduling meetings.
- Assist the Special Events staff with reporting and data analysis
- Attend staff meetings
- Provide support to the Special Events assistant and and Special Events management team to learn
the administrative aspect of Special Events
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
